Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions provide general information about services supplied by Hurst Gardens.

Specific work may also be subject to the terms contained within an individual quotation or agreement. Where there is a conflict, the terms agreed for the individual job will take priority.

Quotations

Quotations are based on the information available and the condition of the site at the time the quotation is prepared.

If the scope of work changes, additional work is requested, or unforeseen circumstances affect the work required, additional charges may apply. These will be discussed with the customer where reasonably possible before additional work is undertaken.

Unless otherwise stated, quotations are provided without obligation and may be subject to an expiry period stated on the quotation.

Site Access

Customers are responsible for ensuring reasonable and safe access to the property or site at the agreed time.

Where access cannot be obtained, Hurst Gardens reserves the right to rearrange the visit and, where appropriate, charge for time or costs reasonably incurred.

Grounds Maintenance

Grounds maintenance may include services such as grass cutting, hedge maintenance, seasonal care, weed management, site clearance and general outdoor maintenance as agreed with the customer.

The exact services, frequency and schedule will be agreed before work begins.

Weather & Unforeseen Circumstances

Grounds maintenance is weather dependent.

Work may occasionally need to be postponed, rearranged or altered due to adverse weather, unsafe ground conditions, equipment failure or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Where this happens, we will aim to rearrange the work as soon as reasonably practical.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers should inform Hurst Gardens of any known hazards, restrictions or special requirements relating to the property or site before work begins.

This may include underground services, restricted areas, access arrangements, pets, security requirements or other relevant site information.

Waste

Removal of green waste or other materials will only be included where this has been agreed as part of the quotation or service.

Additional waste removal may incur an additional charge.

Payment

Payment terms will be stated on the relevant quotation or invoice.

Invoices should be paid within the agreed payment period.

Hurst Gardens reserves the right to pause or suspend ongoing services where invoices remain unpaid beyond the agreed payment terms.

Cancellations & Changes

If you need to cancel or rearrange scheduled work, please provide as much notice as reasonably possible.

Where significant costs have already been incurred or materials have been purchased specifically for the work, the customer may remain responsible for those reasonable costs.

Any specific cancellation terms included within an accepted quotation or contract will take priority over this general provision.

Damage & Liability

Hurst Gardens will take reasonable care when carrying out work.

Customers should notify us promptly if they believe damage has occurred as a direct result of our work so that the matter can be investigated.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Insurance

Hurst Gardens maintains appropriate insurance for the services it provides.

Evidence of insurance can be provided where reasonably required for commercial work.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact us as soon as possible.

We will aim to investigate concerns fairly and work with you to reach an appropriate resolution.

Changes to These Terms

Hurst Gardens may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The version applicable to a particular job will normally be the version in effect when the work is agreed, together with any specific terms contained within the relevant quotation or contract.
